1. Use the Pink Prismacolor pencil to add color to the
snout, around the eyes, and the insides of the ears.
2. Use the Henna Prismacolor Pencil to add color to the
nostrils, indentation of the mouth, and around the eyes.
3. Use the Dark Umber Prismacolor Pencil to darken the
nostrils, around the eyes, and the indentation of the mouth.
4. Rub a clean piece of cloth against the areas of the
head where you used the Prismacolor pencils to soften the effect.
5. Use the Dark Umber to color hooves onto the bottom of the
lamb’s feet. Once they are all colored
in, rub them with a clean cloth to soften the color.
6. Sew the hat circle leaving the opening open. Neaten the seams with pinking shears.
7. Turn the hat right side out. After making a tacking stitch to hold the
thread in place, run a gathering stitch about ¼” from the edge all around the
hat.
8. Pull the gathers and make a tacking stitch to secure
the thread in place.
9. After securing the thread cut it off.
10.
Fill the hat with fiberfill.
11.Using matching
colored dressmakers pins, pin the hat onto the lamb’s head.
12.
Cut a 19 & ½”
long piece of the 1 & ½” wide wired ribbon.
Tie the ribbon around the lamb’s neck.
13.
Tie it into a bow
at the back of her neck.
14.
Cut a 12” long
piece of the ribbon and tie it into a bow.
Pin it onto the base of the tail of the lamb.
15.
Cut a 10” long
piece of the ribbon and tie it into a bow.
Pin the bow onto the back of the hat.
16.
Thread the bell
onto the cotton crochet thread. Tie the
thread onto the neck ribbon.
17.
After making a few
knots bring the thread into the lamb in a spot that will not be visible and cut
the ends off.
18.
You can use
different color schemes for the hat, ribbon, and fur as you wish.
