I am Marla Niederer and I would like to welcome you to my blog, Orsini's Angels. . I have been a self-taught mixed media figurative artist since my earliest childhood memories. For a good part of my adult life I fought my desire towards chasing everything shiny down the artistic rabbit hole so I could focus on, learn, and develop techniques in figurative fiber art until I was able to create what visions danced in my heart and head. Now that I get to spend every day creating art, I can follow everything shiny down the artistic rabbit hole. While I still create figurative art and plan to continue to do so, I am finding myself traveling along other artistic paths such as watercolor painting, jewelry making, paper cutting art, book binding, art journaling, mixed media, sculpture and whatever other artistic adventures that capture my attention at the moment. I love to share the techniques I use with other artists and have been teaching online and in person classes for many years. I have also started sharing free tutorials on my OrsinisAngels YouTube channel. I hope you enjoy taking a peek at them from time to time and join me in my artistic journeys.
